Bolton Council Housing Options
The council helps people find suitable housing and provides support for those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
If you believe you may become threatened with homelessness or about to become homeless, we can offer advice via telephone or email and may have a duty to provide you with accommodation in certain cases.
We can help with specific areas including:
• Your landlord has asked you to leave
• You’re not getting on with the people you live with
• You can’t afford your mortgage, rent, bills or have other problems managing your tenancy or accommodation
• Your accommodation is not suitable because it’s too small or in a poor condition
• Your accommodation is not suitable because of a medical condition or disability
• You’re experiencing, or are at risk of violence, abuse or harassment
