At Get Oldham Working, we’re supporting WorkWell Vanguard, a service that is dedicated to helping Oldham residents who might be at risk of losing their job, or have recently become unemployed due to health related issues.

• Therapy and counselling for up to 26 weeks

• Advice and Guidance for learning, training and work

The Oldham Homelessness service helps people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They provide support to individuals and families in need, ensuring they have a safe place to live. The service works with various organisations, including charities, local councils, and housing providers, to find solutions for those in crisis.

In addition, the service offers information about housing options and rights. They also run prevention programmes to help people stay in their homes, such as mediation services for those facing disputes with landlords. Overall, the aim of the Oldham Homelessness service is to prevent homelessness and support people in finding stable and secure housing in the community.

The Housing Options service will contact the applicant within 48 hours to offer them advice and, if required, an appointment to come and see a Housing Advisor.
