Inspire is a multi-purpose community venue based inside a former church, a thriving and well-loved centre owned by the people of Levenshulme.

All the activities, classes and events that happen at Inspire aim to benefit local people through community activity, creativity, enterprise and fun. All our projects, events and our cafe are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers which are made up of community members from all over the world.

We also aim to draw people in from further afield to take part in our activities, and to see how fantastic our neighbourhood is and to connect with others.

Levenshulme Inspire is a community-led organisation which brings together people from many backgrounds to transform our area through community activity, creativity, enterprise and fun.

Our work radiates from the Inspire Centre, a community and business hub at the heart of Levenshulme which is open to everyone to hold meetings and organise activities and events.

Services include:

• Free Community meals on Thursday 7 – 8pm

• Baby & Preschool play sessions throughout the week

• Advice sessions via video link on Fridays – 9.30am – 1pm

Volunteer at Levenshulme Inspire

Have some spare time? Volunteer at our thriving community hub to meet new people, learn new skills and gain valuable experience. You’ll be supporting Inspire’s crucial community work and helping out your neighbours, while having loads of fun at the same time.

Volunteering can even be life-changing. Many of our volunteers discover new skills and passions, and some have gone on to paid employment elsewhere. Some of them are even paid to work here!

Full training and support will be provided – we’ll be on hand to help, every step of the way.
