St Marys Sexual Assault Referral Centre
Saint Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) provides a comprehensive and co-ordinated forensic, counselling and aftercare service to men, women and children living in the Greater Manchester area who have experienced rape or sexual assault, whether this has happened recently or in the past. We also offer immediate crisis support and a forensic service to Cheshire.
We offer the following services: • Immediate crisis support • Forensic medical examinations • Pregnancy advice • Sexual health screening and information • Independent sexual violence advisors • Counselling

If you have been raped or sexually assaulted, we are here to help you. We will help you recover from both the physical and emotional effects of the assault.
You will be able to access our full range of services.
Services include:

Forensic Medical examination

• Independent Sexual Violence Advisors
• Counselling

Call us now 0161 276 6515 (lines open 24 hours a day 7 days per week)
You can access our services either via Police or you can contact us directly.
You can also be referred to our services through another agency as long they have asked your permission.
If you report your assault to the Police, you should automatically be offered the Centre’s services as part of their response to sexual violence.
You can use our services without making a report to the Police or we can support you if and when you do what to speak to the Police.
