Doctors of the World
Doctors of the World UK is part of the international network Medecins du Monde. In the UK, we support people accessing healthcare through a dedicated national advice line, the provision of right to healthcare workshops and individual casework and advocacy programmes.
We work with people who are undocumented, seeking asylum, refugees, people with no fixed address and anyone who faced administrative barriers to accessing primary care.

Doctors of the World - Advice Line
Doctors of the World UK is part of the international network Medecins du Monde. In the UK, we support people accessing healthcare through a dedicated national advice line.
The Advice Line can currently support with:
• GP registration (a family doctor)
• Information on rights to healthcare in the UK
• Filling out HC1 forms to help with the cost of prescriptions, dental care and glasses for those who are not working
• Getting help to see a midwife in a hospital to check the health of mother and baby
• Getting support to end a pregnancy
• Finding other useful services
• Information on rights to medical (NHS) primary, hospital and community healthcare care in the UK, and support/advice if someone is refused treatment or gets a bill for hospital or community care.
How to access:
People can self-refer by calling our advice line 080 164 7686 Tuesday to Thursday from 10am to midday (phone interpreters are available).
