Me & Ma: For Refugee and Asylum-Seeking Mums

Last updated 15/07/25

Are you a mum going through the asylum process or living as a refugee in the UK?

Me & Ma is a community project made for you — for mums who may have struggled with their mental health during or after pregnancy.

We know how tough it can be. You might feel low, anxious, lonely, or unsure where to turn for help. That’s why we’ve created a safe, welcoming space online — to support you, share stories, and remind you that you’re not alone.

Through Instagram and TikTok, we share:

• Mental health tips from doctors and psychologists

• Stories and podcasts from other mums with similar journeys

• Fun and creative content like our Food Bank Cooking Challenge

• Simple guides to what mental health support looks like in the UK

We also want to hear from you. Later this year, we’re holding makeup and wellbeing workshop to understand what support you need and how we can make services better for you.

You are not alone. This is a space for support, understanding, and community — just for mums like you.
