Wirral Change is an advisory service provider dedicated to supporting ethnic minority residents in the Wirral area since 2006. Our primary goal is to offer advisory services, advocacy, information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to marginalized communities.

Services we offer range from: • running community groups • translation and interpreting • health and wellbeing • and support for immigration processes.

Our Ask Us Wirral team offers information, advice and guidance

Ask Us Wirral is our information and advice service, funded by Wirral Council and Wirral Clinical Commissioning group. The service is available to all Wirral residents and is delivered in partnership with Citizens Advice Wirral, Age UK Wirral, Wirral Change and Wirral Mencap.

We offer information, advice and guidance on matters such as:

• Debt

• Housing

• Welfare

• Relationships

• Benefits

• Tax Credits

• Safeguarding Matters

• Legal Advice & Guidance

We offer our services in multiple languages, If your language is not listed contact us and we can provide you with Interpretation and Translation support.

Wirral Change - Asylum Resettlement Team

Our Asylum Resettlement Team provides support to local Asylum Seekers and new Refugees.

The team offers daily support to vulnerable families, assisting with a wide range of needs, including but not limited to:

• School Registrations

• Medical appointment support

• GP Registration 

• Utilities 

• Volunteering

• Advice and Guidance

The team are constantly there to support Asylum Seekers and new Refugees with their day to day needs. The team work effortlessly in improving and adapting surges of newcomers to the Wirral, providing food and essentials.

We provide one-to-one tailored support with CV development, job searching, access to training and volunteering opportunities to improve employability.

The service offers free, confidential advice & guidance to support you back into employment. We work with a range of partner agencies, such as Involve North West, to help support you to overcome a range of barriers that are preventing you from going to work.

• Funding to remove barriers to work
• CV writing support
• Job Applications
• Interview Tips & Techniques

We can help with funding towards training including: Criteria Applies*
