NHS Talking Therapies is the new name for improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) services across the country. We provide a range of talking therapies for anxiety and depression. In some of our areas we may also be able to support you with other mental health conditions and if you have a long-term physical health condition.

NHS Talking Therapies - Bury
NHS Bury Talking Therapies is for people over the age of 16 years, who are registered with a GP in Bury.
We offer support and treatment if you're experiencing symptoms such as difficulty sleeping, low mood, stress, worry or anxiety, feelings of low self worth or panic attacks.
We can also help you to cope with the effects of a long-term health problem or chronic pain, post natal depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, eating difficulties and post traumatic stress reactions.
Our service is delivered by a range of professionals including therapists and counsellors, who will find a level of treatment that is right for you.
We also provide specialist support for those experiencing post-natal depression and for those with long term health conditions.

NHS Talking Therapies - Oldham
NHS Oldham Talking Therapies is for people over the age of 16 years, who are registered with a GP in Oldham.
We offer support and treatment if you're experiencing low mood, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, and sleep difficulties.
We can help you deal with the effects of a long-term health condition, chronic pain, or post natal depression, We also offer couples therapy if you are struggling in your relationships, and psychosexual therapy for any intimacy difficulties.
Everyone who wishes to access the service will be invited to seminars to introduce the service and explain what we can offer, as well as learning strategies and techniques to use while waiting for treatment.
