ROC (Redeeming Our Communities)
ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) empowers local people of goodwill to work together for safer, stronger communities. As a neutral facilitator, ROC’s role, when invited by a specific community, is to raise awareness of the existing groups and schemes within the area and help all involved to get to know each other and affirm the good work already underway.

ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) - Come Have A Talk - CHAT Hub
The CHAT Hub provides a non-clinical, community-based mental health crisis service, delivering immediate support to individuals experiencing emotional distress or self-defined crisis.
Positioned as an alternative to A&E, the CHAT Hub offers a welcoming, therapeutic environment for de-escalation and guidance toward recovery pathways.
The service is built on collaboration with local health, social care, and community partners, emphasising accessibility and person-centred care.
Service Objectives:
• Provide a safe space for individuals in distress without the need for prior appointment.
• De-escalate crises using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
• Connect users with appropriate services for ongoing support, including mental health teams, housing services, and community organisations.
• Build trust through involvement with community leaders and individuals with lived experience.
