LAB Manchester - Free Courses
Participants can join the following free courses:
• LAB PROJECT: An intensive two-week course that improves confidence, self-esteem & communication skills, helping people develop new connections and diverse networks that supports them moving towards employment. Inclusive of a Progression and Networking Day with other organisations.
• LAB WELLBEING: A 1- or 2-week course that develops skills in wellbeing, confidence, resilience & goal-setting, supporting learners to take positive steps forwards within a safe, peer learning environment.
• LAB VOLUNTEERING: A 1-week course that equips learners with the skills they need to successfully volunteer with any organisation, helping learners find a volunteering position that suits them and their personal goals. Inclusive of a Progression and Networking Day with other organisations.
• LAB LIFE: A 4 day course that provides a fun and practical way to help with the day-to-day costs of living. We look at saving money around the home, easy ways to budget when shopping, how to cook cheaply, best ways to travel & many other easy to access money saving ideas.
• PROPER PROGRESS: A 1-1 Mentoring Programme that provides 9 Weeks of personalised coaching; supporting learners with individual goal setting, communication skills & confidence building across a weekly meeting framework. A supportive & holistic approach that helps learners take positive steps forwards.
