ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) - Come Have A Talk - CHAT Hub
The CHAT Hub provides a non-clinical, community-based mental health crisis service, delivering immediate support to individuals experiencing emotional distress or self-defined crisis.
Positioned as an alternative to A&E, the CHAT Hub offers a welcoming, therapeutic environment for de-escalation and guidance toward recovery pathways.
The service is built on collaboration with local health, social care, and community partners, emphasising accessibility and person-centred care.
Service Objectives:
• Provide a safe space for individuals in distress without the need for prior appointment.
• De-escalate crises using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
• Connect users with appropriate services for ongoing support, including mental health teams, housing services, and community organisations.
• Build trust through involvement with community leaders and individuals with lived experience.
