Social Adventures - Garden Needs
Garden Needs is a centre where we run a regular mental health and horticulture project. It is also a hub for green wellbeing projects and interventions that we offer in parks and green spaces across Greater Manchester.
The Garden Needs site is on the boarder of Salford and Prestwich and is right on the edge of the Kersal Dale Woodland.
Garden Needs hosts a number of projects including forest school training, woodland wellbeing for adults, a mental health and horticulture project, a pre-school forest school, green social prescribing, holiday clubs and, outdoor education services for schools.
Garden Needs is based at Salford M7, just 2.5 miles away from Salford precinct, 30 minutes on one bus (and we cover public transport expenses). Lunch is provided!
