Salford Foundation - Women's & Survivor's Services
Trauma-informed, holistic services with specialist interventions and peer support which empowers women experiencing complex and multiple challenges to progress and change. Key groups include female offenders and victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
Services include:
• Pathways Programme: supports women aged 18+, including marginalised and vulnerable women in Salford with low level mental health needs.
• Indigo Programme: The project provides support for women aged 18+ living in Salford who have experienced domestic abuse including victims and survivors, who are no longer in the relationship, and consider themselves safe.
• Together Women Project: Gender specific service providing a one stop shop of support for female offenders with multiple complex needs and living in Salford.
• The Effective Women's Centres Project: The aim of the EWC Project is to build and share evidence on how women’s centres transform lives and benefit communities to inform and shift policy.
• Elevate Salford (for women): The programme aims to help women achieve their goals, develop a bespoke action plan, deliver training to develop new skills, offer volunteering opportunities, work placements and employment.
