Oldham Lifelong Learning Service - Coldhurst

We are an Adult Education provider (19 years and older) and offer English as a Second Language to residents across the borough in order to help learners to improve their English language.

Fully accredited IAA (formerly ESOL) qualification from Entry 1 to Level 1 in speaking, listening, reading and writing. You can learn and practice skills needed for work.

Some courses offer an award in Employability.

How to access:

You can access this service via GM ESOL website or Job Centre coach.

All applications are processed through the centralised GM ESOL Service website - https://gmesol.org/take-a-test/. You will then be invited for an initial assessment on site at one of our campuses and placed on the waiting list.

Job Centre Plus learners can be referred for an initial assessment via their work coach by contacting Margaret Manning on 0161 770 1531.
