Manchester Refugee Support Network - Immigration Advice Drop-in

Our Immigration advice services provides advice and advocacy in immigration and nationality matters. We help individuals, as well as families, to obtain refugee status, leave to remain, settlement and British citizenship. We can advise on more complex asylum issues, and if we can’t help we can refer you to an organisation that can help you or we will provide you with a list of qualified legal representatives/solicitors.

Our Immigration Advice Service offers help with: Home office reference number | Lost BRP card | Naturalisation | UKVCAS appointments | Change address with home office | Leave in Line applications | British passport applications | Indefinite leave to remain applications.

Our Travel Document service can support with: Applying for a travel document or Certificate of travel Changing your delivery address for your travel document.


Our Asylum Support service can offer help with: How to claim asylum | Navigating the asylum process | Applying for asylum support including accommodation | Asylum Support appeal | Notifying the Home Office if your circumstances change | Finding legal representation/ Find a solicitor. | Accessing healthcare | Accessing education | Obtain an ARC card | Apply for the Right to Work while waiting for your asylum claim | Support during the post-decision period | Other asylum and post-asylum claim related matters
