Just Psychology - Family Reunion and Parenting Project
This service is delivered in partnership with Rainbow Haven.
This ground-breaking project enables families to overcome the multiple challenges arising from family reunion following serial migration: reducing the likelihood of family breakdown, or the involvement of social services or the family courts.
Services include:
• Family Reunion group sessions - Led by a psychological practitioner. These sessions focus on re-building relationships, addressing expectations and helping children and parents talk to each other about their experiences whilst separated and their hopes and aspirations now they are reunited.
• Parenting groups - Which help to improve families’ understanding of UK parenting expectations and child protection laws, as well as encouraging parents to access local resources.
